La Marina

Andrew, having looked at your La Marina Animal Welfare web site I can't help
but wonder why you are asking for the animal ambulance to be shared between
yourselves and K9 when it is clearly stated on your web site that you DO NOT
take in abandoned animals! You specify that you are an animal welfare
charity, but you do not take in any strays! How can you justify your request
for a share in using the animal ambulance rescue vehicle when, by your own
admission, you cannot take in any abandoned animals!

yes i hear what you are saying i was trying to bring it across in the way if it was shared with volunteers, volunteers do it in there own time and probably sometimes there isnt enough volunteers so sharing it in a way as everyone gets together to organise a clear rota. It must be hectic for K9 trying to get volunteers and it would take pressure off of everyone involved in this matter. I could be wrong but, it would be less stress if everyone helped eachother

Im pretty sure K9 (the only charity on the Urb that rescue abandoned animals) have it all in hand as they have been doing a fantastic job collecting the strays from the streets and I applaud Mark Lewis for setting up such a fantastic service, if it wasn't for him cereco would still have the contract!

Andi,
I note your comments on your desire for all animal charities to co-operate. Perhaps you can tell us why K9 who previously shared the charity shop with yourselves no longer do so?
